"I first walked the fields as a four year old, mucking about in the wood at the bottom of our garden. Since then I've spent all my life in the fields, something which I will never tire of.

Over many years I've watched and filmed some wondrous natural behaviour, sometimes for TV, but more often for my own enjoyment. I've decided it's about time to share some of that filming with a wider audience, so I'm very pleased to have finished my first DVD, which complements my book of poems, A Countryman's Journey"

This DVD, 'A Wildlife Journey Through Derbyshire and the Peak District' is a study of a year in my home territory with anecdotes, personal observations, and lots of detailed wildlife behaviour. I hope you'll like it.

Wild places in our countryside need all the help they can get at the moment, and organisations like the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust are working hard to look after it. Think about joining if you would.
